Product Development Executive

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to PD Manager
• Forming the interface between the UK, Hong Kong trading companies and its suppliers
• Consolidating customer & designer requirements and working with internal team to produce product brief for development
• Delivering quotations and samples accurately, quickly, on time and cost effectively by coordinating with customers and suppliers.
• Sourcing materials and products required for product launch, customer own designs and product improvements as necessary
• Ensuring that all product specifications are clear, complete and approved before production of orders
• Managing development for major product launches and customer own design development
• Delivering production orders accurately, quickly, on time and with high quality by coordinating with customers and suppliers
• Managing between trading companies and suppliers to ensure that Tracker (Master Production Schedule) is accurate and real time.
• Managing relationship between HALO and Suppliers.
• Improving efficiencies and lead time of orders by negotiating with suppliers on quick throughput strategies, alleviating bottlenecks and constraints within the supply chain and managing demand forecast/ product delisting from the trading companies for stock preparation
• Managing complaints and NCRs (Claim reports) from trading companies and negotiating claims and returns with suppliers
• Coordinating of capacities, payment terms, supply agreement, NDA with suppliers

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years product experience in Wooden Furniture/ Upholstery Furniture in Leather & Fabrics/ Bags/ Lighting
• Experience in monitoring factories from product brief right through to shipment
• Experience in dealing with both customers and suppliers
• Experience in handling US & EEC markets
• Fluent English and Mandarin
• Graduate in business or other relevant disciplines
• Good team player
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Be customer focus while balancing the capabilities of the business and suppliers
• Be thorough and meticulous with an extreme attention to detail
• Be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to go beyond the call of duty to get the job done
• Station in Gaoming /factories

Our working day is from Monday to Friday, company will provides the transportation, accommodation and meals.
