The Furniture Designer will need to have the knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines, assist in the design and execution of various projects on Furniture Design : Living room, Bed room, Back to School items, etc.:

- Analyze the European market;

- Meet with the manager to discuss the product objectives; 

- Interpret the buyer needs by the product request and developing a concept to suit their purpose;

- Estimate the time required to complete the work, creatively producing new ideas and concepts; 

- Develop design briefs by gathering information and data through researches and analyze them;

- Present finalized ideas and concepts to the manager;

- Proofread to produce accurate and high-quality work;

- Contribute ideas and design artwork to the overall brief;

- Demonstrate illustrative skills with rough sketches;

- Work on layouts and technical drawing pages ready for print;

- Work as part of a team with printers, stylists, illustrators, other designers as well;

- Other tasks assigned by the superior.

Requirements

 - Bachelor degree or above; 

- More than 5 years working experience in or with European market on the similar position;

- Versed in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, 3D software ( RHINO, 3DS MAX ), 2D software ( technical drawing), Rendering software ( KEY SHOT, …);

- Good artist sense and technique, creative, good action capability;

- Familiar with the safety standard and requirement on the furniture products;

- Open-minded, be able to integrate himself/herself easily in a team and work with others;

- Stable, good sense of responsibility, reliable;

- Good command of English on writing and speaking.
