Position Summary:

The Quality Control Inspector for Munchkin’s Registered Representative Office is responsible for conducting quality control inspections/verifications, quality control metrics, production monitoring, and testing on manufacturing supplies, in-process materials, and finished products. This also includes the checking of information and products, shipping marks, etc. The Quality Control Inspector shall comply with all standards, regulations, and applicable requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform quality control inspections, check, and test during the manufacture of products

• Perform inspections, QC testing/verifications of the production, in-process materials, and finished products as required

• Inspect materials, parts and products at different stages of production

• Draft reports for any inspection performed

• Identify new inspection procedures and methods for quality inspection improvement

• Support the quality function by giving constructive feedback on quality/engineering issues

• Provide Corrective Action feedback to suppliers and manufacturing, work with suppliers to mitigate risks
• Record observations and may make recommendations for improving processes
• Other duties may be assigned

Requirements/ Qualifications:

• Minimum two to four years of quality control inspection or quality control experience.

• Knowledge of applicable regulations, standards, and laws including ISO 9001:2008, FDA, UL, EN, EU, CSA ASTM, and global regulatory for consumer products, etc.

• Knowledge of continuous process improvement or related discipline.

• Excellent math skills, statistics a plus.

• Ability to communicate in written and oral English.

• Ability to use computer software, including Word, Excel, MS Work, MS Access, MS Outlook, and MRP systems.

• Knowledge of production process (e.g. sewing, injection, assembly, final packing) and quality control.

Familiar with electrical products (e.g. bottle warmer, sterilizer) process quality control, inspection and regular testing is a plus
