Responsibilities

- Manage the daily accounting duties, provide guidance to subordinates

- Monitor month end closing process to meet tight deadline

- Proactively participate in budgeting, forecasting and year end closing

- Review and prepare financial analysis, variance reports, management and financial reports with breakdown schedules

- Coordinate with inter-office and prepare consolidated schedules

- Lead or participate in ad-hoc projects and assignments

- Identify and act on opportunities to automate, streamline and improve reporting and budgeting procedures

Experience

- An Accounting degree holder, preferably with a professional accounting qualification

- Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience with at least 3 years focused in management accounting and experience in MNC is preferable

- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, knowledge of Excel macro function is a definite advantage

- Knowledge in SAP preferred

- Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin

- A fast learner with the ability to adapt to the constantly changing financial requirements

- Ability to work under pressure and produce high-quality work within tight deadlines

- Accountable and proactive

- Good analytical and interpersonal skills

- Ability to follow all set procedures to achieve compliance

- Mature, reliable and detail-oriented, demonstrate a high level of initiative and work well in a team environment
