In this role, you have the opportunity to

• Lead Industry 4.0 digital projects in technical aspects to support project leader in Zhuhai site.

You are responsible for:

• Leading Industry 4.0 projects in technical aspects to support project leader.

• Managing assigned resources and stakeholders in the projects, with internal and external project members, IT business partners and sub-contractors;

• Running the related activities from project initiation and ensure a solid handover to user and IT teams also to support after hand over when necessary.

• Setting up a review structure that provides efficient insight into the status of the project.

• Working on state-of-the-art technologies, like Manufacturing Execution System (MES), (industrial) IoT, Cloud technology, Auto material handling, Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Analytics and Big Data solutions.

You are part of

• Manufacturing Operational team. You will be based in Zhuhai.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• MSc/BSc in Computer Science, IT, major in software engineering, statistics, mathematics related discipline is preferred.

• Minimum 5+ years working experience in multi-disciplinary projects in the digital environment;

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage interrelated multi-functional tradeoffs;

• Ability to understand and translate internal need to digital products or system requirement.

• Can balance risks and opportunities to enable innovative solutions;

• A good communicator and motivator for various stakeholders, working in a multi-cultural environment is preferred; Good at English writing and speaking

• Affinity with production technology and manufacturing processes , experienced with manufacturing digitalization is required

• Hands on experience in execution of digital or auto logistics projects is required

• Experience with MES systems and SAP required

• Software developer background? Familiar with C++/SQL yes

• Knowledge of digital ecosystems, data science (statistics/machine learning/artificial intelligence), data visualization and cloud technologies; - Basic

• Prefer to have experience with software design concepts, practices, modern development methodologies such as Agile, Lean;
