The Company

Dynamic, global furniture business with operations in China, UK and Hong Kong now require a Merchandiser to support its rapid expansion.

Merchandiser requirement and responsibility:
Requirement:

1.College or above, at least 5 years merchandising experience, experiences in wood furniture and sofa is
preferred.
2.Hard working, good team player, initiative, honest;
3.Experience in monitoring factories from product brief right through to shipment
4.Experience in dealing with both customers and suppliers
5.Good English both written and spoken.

Responsibility:

1.Forming the interface between the UK, Hong Kong trading companies and its suppliers
2.Delivering quotations and samples accurately, quickly, on time and cost effectively by coordinating with
customers and suppliers
3.Coordinating between trading companies and suppliers to ensure that Tracker (Master Production Schedule)
is accurate and real time
4.Delivering production orders accurately, quickly, on time and with high quality by coordinating with
customers and suppliers
5.Improving efficiencies and lead time of orders by negotiating with suppliers on quick throughput strategies,
alleviating bottlenecks and constraints within the supply chain and managing demand forecast/ product
delisting from the trading companies for stock preparation
6.Consolidating complaints and NCRs (Claim reports) from trading companies and negotiating claims and
returns with suppliers
7.Assisting in the negotiation of capacities, payment terms, supply agreement, NDA with suppliers
