1. Essential Functions of Job:

1.1. Along with Account Manager, determine who is responsible for the project.

1.2. Have total responsibility, both technically and commercially, for the project they are managing.

1.3. In some cases, this position will have full responsibility for customer management.

1.4. Should actively follow up and finish assigned projects.

1.5. Report customer contacts and visits to team, saving all information to database.

1.6. Continuously maintain the project in the customer database.

1.7. Create and update formulations in the system.

1.8. Create and update material specifications in the system.

1.9. Actively participate in meetings with customers and suppliers.

1.10. Provide customer technical support and, if necessary, participate in trial runs.

1.11. Work with environmental awareness and resource efficiency with a focus on our environmental goals as a part of daily work.

1.12. Test and approve new materials.

1.13. Stop production when there is a clear quality deviation.

1.14. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

2. Skills Required for Job (for Training and Development):

2.1. Specific knowledge of developing and applying TPE products in various applications.

2.2. Ability to understand customer application and provide technical service to customers.

2.3. Ability to collaborate with internal resources of the company outside China.

2.4. Self-motivated, adapts to change, detail oriented.

2.5. High level of both written and oral communication skills, both English and Chinese.

2.6. Analytical and Problem-solving skills.

2.7. Computer skills.

2.8. Ability to perform routine analytical tests and familiarity with TPE analytical tests used in the industry.

2.9. Good interpersonal skills; cooperation; collaboration. Ability to work effectively with peers, superiors and subordinates.

2.10. Capable of searching literature, patent databases, internet to investigate technical prior art and feasibility.

2.11. Ability to bring projects to conclusion in a timely manner.

2.12. Competency in Statistical methodologies, e.g. DOE, SPC, GRR

3. Qualifications Required for Job:

3.1. BS/BA Chemistry, Polymer Science, or Chemical Engineering preferred.

3.2. Prefer five (5) years' experience in TPE or thermoplastic industry.

3.3. Sound troubleshooting skills i.e. 6 Sigma, SPC, FMEA preferred.

3.4. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification preferred.
