Quality Manager VLS Foshan

MISSION
Member of the China Project team, he will ensure the quality of the finish products through the deployment of the total quality approach and the implementation of all necessary quality tools.
To be the representative of the customers and to be answerable to its present and future satisfaction.

MAIN DUTIES
Production Quality:
-Proceed to internal audits, (product, process, 5S, environnement, ets...)
-Assure the update of control plan, control instructions, visual aids, etc... when necessary
-Organize by random sampling the measurement and periodical tests on finish products before shipping
-Assure the update and traceability of quality documentation
-Manage the follow up of product non conformity, containment action corrective action
-Release of the internal I.S. from production lines as well as the process changes
-Authority to stop the production or deliveries of products/services which could provoke customer unsatisfaction
-Participates to worker's competence evaluation
-Develop and deploy statistical tools in production
-Support the production staff & workers in problem solving with QRQC tools

Laboratory:
-Insure that the lab tests will be completed on time (for new products and current production in line with the timing plan)
-For all new products validate the internal specifications and associated test plan.
-Prepare the Initial Sample & PPAP/PSW file for customer presentation

Customer Quality:
-Be the customer interface for any claim alert or other concern
-Able to analyse the customer returns (zero km and warranty) following the PDCA methodology and with respect to the lead time to customer response
-Is the quality interface when customer audit will be done in production facility
-Insure that efficient preventive actions to solve potential incidents are introduced during project phase.
-Submission of Initial Samples and PPAP to the customer

TRAINING AND PROFIL
Experience in Quality functions of 3 to 5 years minimum in high volume industry (automotive a +).
Chinese Language + Good command of the English language are mandatory, Japanese is a +
