Mission :

In charge of molds development and validation according to QCD from the division.
Coordinate actions and necessary means to reach targets.


Responsibilities:

· Define and develop production tools and industrial equipments in plastic engineering following project targets.

· Validate quality, technical and economical choices between solutions

· Validate performance level of expected criteria in regards to targets

· Take into account link of activities.

· Use all internal tools and follow-up supports available at VLS.

· Pilot continuous improvement of his process and review on a time basis.

· Report to his management (follow-up, performance and efficiency of his activity) and propose action plans.

· Realize plastic engineering activities through knowledge management and best practices elaboration. (DESIGN OF TOOL / DESIGN OF PART)

· Put experience and knowledge at working group's disposal.

· Participate to Technical commitee and training associated to plastic engineering.

· Respect and enforce:

o Quality standards to ensure product performances.

o Environmental, safety and health risks prevention.



Profile - Skills :

(degree ; work experience ; languages) :

Degree: Engineer or Bachelor/Master degree in Material Sciences - Polymers specialty

Work experience: 3-5 years experience in polymers processing with significant projects (Rear or Headlamp preferable)

Knowledge of polymers sciences, injection moulding Design and flow simulation.

Language: Beside native tongue, at least fluent in English.
Additional foreign language will be a plus.
