职位描述：
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
A. Create and follow up NPI project plans and communicate them with customers.
B. Accurately translate the needs of users into product specifications.
C. Conceptualize and recommend ideas for new products, product variations and product enhancements.
D. Design new products, product variations and product enhancements for quality by Creo.
E. Perform Design validation by state of the art methods (CAE, Quality tools, DOE).
F. Apply tolerances to designs for high volume production.
G. Recommend manufacturing processes for new products. Helps to identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
H. Design and coordinate construction and use of jigs and fixtures.
I. Prepare documentation of engineering information during the development of products.
J. Work with model makers and vendors to build prototypes for testing ideas, photography and vendor samples.
K. Solve existing problems in product manufacturing and design issues.


EDUCATION/SKILL/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
A. At least Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master degree is preferred.
B. Minimum 5 years of mechanical design experience is preferred.
C. Project management experience preferred.
D. Proficiency with CAD system required. CAE knowledge preferred.
E. Good knowledge of technical mechanics (Force calculation, etc.)
F. Familiar with industrial manufacturing.
G. Knowledge of PDM system.
H. Able to understand and apply Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) at intermediate to expert level preferred.
I. Knowledge in: Design Failure Modes Effect Analysis, Process Failure Modes Effect Analysis, Engineering Change Process, Product and Process Drawings, Lean Overview, 5S, Standard Work, Built in Quality,
J. Good English, verbal and written.
