POSITION OVERVIEW
The Technical Service Engineer is responsible for support hygiene business growth by providing application trial runs and trouble-shootings at customer site; he or she will also carry out the day to day testing activities in the laboratory as needed.
PRIMARY DUTIES
1. Work with sales team to secure business by providing technical support such as trial runs, trouble-shootings at customer side to ensure application success.
2. Evaluate new product’s performance and simulating customer application in laboratory.
3. Provide accurate problem descriptions (CTQs), with all necessary support documentation for product development in the laboratory.
4. Support application related data package generation.
5. Demonstrate equipment usage, TCO model and product application for training to both internal & external customers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1) Bachelor degree or above with major in Chemical Engineering, Polymer or Materials Science
2) Good English in both written and spoken
3) Good communication and presentation skills
4) Ability to travel frequently at short notice
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1) Working experience in hygiene industry or chemical product application, manufacturing process, machinery is preferred, but bright fresh graduate maybe considered too.
2) Attention to detail and strong problem solving skills (FMEA)
3) Present a professional image to both internal and external customers
4) Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers
5) Self-motivated, proactive with winning spirit.
