Our client is a famous European owned enterprise in electronicas industry in Qingdao.
Responsibilities
-Support the contract manufacturer of products and process for manufacturing engineering samples in materials such as Plastic, Steel, Ceramic, FR4, and other materials, and then communicate approval or necessary changes to make improvements. Including design, drawing and tool modifications.
- Responsible for Validating new and existing Mold tooling
- Responsible for manufacturing product design group samples from tooling
- Request for quotation for engineering samples, equipment & processes that is actively supporting projects or engi- neering both on site and at sub contractor’s locations. ?
- Responsible for Creating and updating drawings & engineering change as required
- Responsible for raising PO’s for project engineering samples as required (after approval).
- Responsible for requesting PV (Product validation) and measurements study of new products / Components
- Responsible for creating, maintaining and management of Project documentation, including: specification, work instructions & Drawings of components, equipment or processes.
- Responsible for reporting U.M.C (Unit of manufacturing cost), tooling, obsolete & scrap costs associated with project.
- Ensure Project leads adhere to procedures and that the procedures are continuously improved to capture lessons learned.
- Analyzing if the infrastructure meets the requirements (from floor/line setup, workstations and/or operator manpower, etc).
- Work with other company and engineering functions to ensure a seamless transition into production and operates a safe working environment

Skills/Qualifications:
- A minimum is a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience of 5 or more years in a manufacturing environment
- Experience of 3 or more years managing multiple projects in an engineering environment is required
- Experience of 2 years or more injection molding
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Vertical & Horizontal Injection machining in a variety of Resin materials ABS, PP, PC & TPE
- Tooling Fabrication (Injection, Stamping, Die casting)
- Injection molding & Over-molding
- Metal Fabrication, Stamping, Dye casting, Punching
- Experience in CAD / 3D Models essential, and Gerber’s advantageous
- Fluent written & Oral Mandarin Chinese and English required
- Experience in PCB (FR4) advantageous
- Experience in Wire bonding advantageous
- Experience in Ceramic (RF) production advantageous
- Operate CNC Router
- Ability to travel and short notice and work overtime
