职位描述：
Business Structure Linkage
This role belongs to the Central Inbound & Outbound China team but is based at the Daqing plant. Functionally reporting to Central Inbound Operations Manager in Shanghai with a local manager from MP&L in Daqing plant.

Purpose
The purpose of the Local Transportation Control position is to ensure daily inbound transportation execution of production material to Daqing plant (including returnable flows).
 
This role will be critical to achieve the timely shipping and arrival of production material on a daily basis. This position will play the import support role as on-site representative in project phase (Q4 2015 to Q2 2016) with the intention to transfer to the line organization upon project completion.


Main Tasks

Project Phase
Represent Inbound Logistics China project at Daqing plant in all aspects including but not limited to:
? Inform, update and educate about Inbound Logistics China project objectives and deliverables to all relevant local (plant) stakeholders
? Collect and document all local requirements related to the (new) Inbound Logistics process
? Control and evaluate existing plant processes and where necessary initiate corrective action to improve and optimize the operational logistics processes
? Support that new processes are acknowledged and handshaked by plant stakeholders
? Drive the implementation of new gatehouse and goods receiving processes
? Secure new responsibility split between Inbound Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination team
? Contribute to the configuration of routes in relation to plant design and processes
? Lead implementation of the dock management module at Daqing plant
? Coordinate everything related to implementation of new carriers at Daqing plant


Operation Phase

? Daily interface to carriers regarding arrival planning and delivery performance
? Drive operational performance meetings with plant Supply Chain Coordination and Goods Reception teams
? Carrier performance management including regular meetings and action plans
? Inbound responsibility for claiming damage/missing goods (including damage prevention initiatives)
? Support new supplier, route and mode implementations
? Coordinate with Security, Safety and plant MP&L team for truck safety regulation, truck entry registration and in-house traffic management in Daqing plant.
? Support the freight cost management team with local cost control activities including monthly charge list and invoice checking
? Support Central Inbound team in ad hoc initiatives and projects
? Represent Inbound Logistics at plant in relevant forums
? Actively contribute with transport knowledge towards the local transport processes
Competence Requirements
? Proven knowledge and experience of transportation handling, preferably from inbound logistics, freight forwarding and/or carrier operations
? High sense of urgency with ability to prioritize and take quick actions and decisions
? Good ability to communicate and document
? Proven team work skills
? Good English language skills
? An educational degree in logistics is preferred
? Automotive logistics background is preferred but not a requirement
