OG-MC Measurement & Control

Essential Responsibilities

- Performs system/monitor test in machine monitoring & protection systems for GE M&C BN business, which acquire seismic/velocity/acceleration/process variable etc.
- Teamwork with cross functional team in both domestic and international to understand CTQ, design requirements, and seek out the opportunity for improving productivity.
- Develop detailed test plan to verify design meet design requirements, standard and compliance and deliver test report
- Contributes to research, technology development and program execution to generate new and/or improved products. - On time complete detailed test with open mindset to new approach
- New technology research and apply to product validation

Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science, Communication Engineering, or related technical discipline
- At least 3 years of software & Firmware automation testing experience, for vibration market or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year agile development experience
- Ability to explain issues and resolutions to technical and non-technical staff
- Full system development life cycle hands-on experience: analysis, designing, coding, testing, performance tuning and documentation
- CET six level
- Expertise on C/C++ and C# programming languages
- Demonstrated understanding and practical experience on industrial products and processes.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills must be able to communicate effectively both in written and oral English in a global team.
- Self motivate and capable of working independently on extended assignments
- Positive attitude and present key data effectively

Desired Characteristics

- GB preferred (GE employee only)
- EEDP graduated
- Familiar with firmware development or software development
- Knowledge of monitoring & protection products
- Experience in measurement instruments programming (Such like Agilent/NI, etc.)
- Familiarity with software tools.
- Familiar with regular measurement instruments / device, such like: Oscilloscope, multi-meter, power supply, etc.
