OG-TMS Turbomachinery Solutions

Role Summary/Purpose

This position will be the business sourcing management person for the fulfillment and assigned sub-commodities

Essential Responsibilities

Through strong technical / market expertise a successful candidate will:
- Work closely with respective commodity team, SQE team and project team to drive china supplier fulfillment performance.
- Track supplier fulfillment status and update system to ensure the correct information communicated cross organization.
- Work closely with respective GCL / Site Sourcing Leader to drive China Sourcing Strategy through commodity assignment
- Search, identify, visit and develop potential suppliers to grow China buy for assigned commodities.
- Support GCL / Site Sourcing leader to execute RFQ (Request For Quotation) packages, negotiate Pricing and Supply Agreement; implement Terms & Conditions in line with sourcing strategy
- Execute eSA process to approve potential suppliers
- Conduct business practices in line with integrity and compliance
- Own and manage key suppliers’ performance to ensure long term cooperation
- Support business planning sessions, including supplier strategy, volume & definition –GPB, SII, OP plan.

Qualifications/Requirements

- BS / BA Degree (material, mechanical or related technical major), plus Business preferred
- 5 years sourcing / operational experience
- Cross-functional and International team experience
- Oil&Gas industry, Power Plant Application, Automotive industry knowledge
- Demonstrated negotiation skills, contract development and business law knowledge
- High motivation and influencing skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong interpersonal / facilitation skills
- Proactive and positive self-starter with energy, enthusiasm and ability to execute
- Experienced working skills with Microsoft Suite (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and web based tools

Desired Characteristics

- Candidates from Electronics, SMT, Industry Engineering or Petrochemical industry are preferred
- Project management experiences
- Ability to decode engineering prints / specification / manufacturing processes
