Position Purpose:
This position is responsible for managing the complex end-to-end Logistics and Supply Chain function for the Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) businesses in the APAC region. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting projects & products businesses in warehousing, transportation, and distribution services along with continuously improving the costs and performance capability of our physical network.
Scope includes inbound raw material to customer integration centers and outbound finished goods to customers and project sites.

HPS NA regional network implementation
Ensuring Logistics Operational Excellence implemented across HPS including:
Freight cost estimation
Transportation Management
Service and cost metrics
3/4PL project management
Freight payment
Distribution and warehousing operations
Ensure implementation of projects in support of Honeywell’s STRAP/ AOP
Driving logistics/supply chain productivity gains and benefits.
Creating cooperative alliances across the HON SBGs’ .
Creating effective collaborations with other regional logistics leaders (Peers).
Implementation of best practices and new supply chain innovations across PMT.
Developing resources into an effective regional logistics organization.


Primary Job Roles and Responsibilities:

1. People
Managing third party provider logistics resources in Honeywell operations or outsourced operations for projects
Providing input, guidance, and direction to site, business, or other functional leaders for Logistics/Distribution estimations and execution.
Maintain the regional APAC HPS logistics organization to enable support for ISC, Projects, and Services opportunities bid and/or executed in the region, including international flows supporting those businesses from other global regions.

2. Network Operations
Responsible for implementation of logistics strategies in support of STRAP/AOP

Manage relationships with PMT/HPS Logistics Providers
Transportation Management
Lead/ collaborate with all Business entities towards implementing a country transportation management solution
Warehousing & Distribution providers
Establish regular QBRs and scorecards

Implement HOS and Six Sigma principles within the logistics arena

3. Financial Controls
Logistics payment process owner for the project and products businesses based in APAC
Drive cost visibility and controls for freight and distribution and lead Freight Spend initiatives across the region
Develop and implement distribution cost controls across the HPS businesses

4. Quality
Manage continuous improvement process for logistics through the ownership and sustenance of standardized logistics and distribution metrics
Ensure Distribution/Contracted Logistics Providers operate according to business goals
Direct, coach and support the SBUs in transportation routing and distribution processes

5. Information Systems
Ensure technology development and deployments in the businesses are seamless, including working with Logistic Provider technology solutions.

Education and Experience:

Four year business degree
Minimum five years experience in Logistics or Supply Chain
Minimum five years experience in a senior leadership role.
Exposure to marketing, finance, order management, lean manufacturing, manufacturing and import export regulations
Lean Principles, Six-Sigma and Green Belt Certification
Proven accomplishments in operational cost reductions and process improvements
Experience in managing logistics processes for projects businesses
Experience and demonstrated ability to work in a highly matrix environment
Ability to communicate in English orally as well as written
