ABOUT DIRECT HR:

The client is a leading US Manufacturer in industrial hardware.

China GM / Asia HRD

Travelling:

Recruitment process:

+ Telephone interviews

+ Face-to-face interviews

Responsibilities:

+ Support Asia HRD and China GM in strategic and operational development

+ Aligning HR initiatives with business objectives to facilitate achievement of immediate and long term growth objectives

+ Contributing to the Organization Review process and recommending employee development and retention initiatives for key talent

+ Developing communication initiatives for both internal and external HR customers that establishes and markets company as an employer of choice

+ Benchmarking compensation & benefits with market to support salary review proposals that ensure market competitiveness and factors in employee preferences

+ Managing the Organization Performance Review (OPR) process, and facilitating an objective and fair assessment based on open communication between Appraisers and their team members

+ Leading employee communication initiatives that translate corporate values in the local context and enhance employee commitment. Build a culture that inculcates greater in the China team to achieve and exceed the commitment

+ Ensure compliance with all employment related statutory requirements

+ Reporting on agreed HR Metrics and operating within HR budgetary guidelines

Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field

+ Minimum 10 years human resource experience of which at least 5 years should have been in a managerial capacity for the China region. Manufacturing HR experience is a plus

+ Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Good Chinese communication

+ Demonstrated ability to lead a team of HR professionals

+ Ability to interact with all levels of the organization

+ Strong formal and informal leadership attributes

+ Good Business Acumen, working under pressure

+ Project Management and/or Process Improvement skills a plus
