ABOUT DIRECT HR:

Client:

The client is a creator of the most popular streaming software platform for delivering video, music and casual games to the TV.

Job Location:

Shanghai, China

Salary:

Competitive Salary (depending on experience)

Starting date:

As soon as possible

Reporting to:

New Product Development Director in US

Travelling:

Up to 40%

Recruitment process:

+ Telephone interviews

+ Face-to-face interviews

Responsibilities:

?Direct the activities of China team, including hiring, coaching, developing, and performance reviews.

?Work with US team and China team to provide support to manufacturing partners.

?Be the primary liaison between manufacturing partners and the new product development teams in the US.

?Be highly available and responsive to partner requests and enquiries.

?Drive issues to expedient and optimal resolution on both sides to help drive success of OEM partner programs.

?Ensure highly functional team work and excellent partner experience.

?Provide training to new manufacturing partners on our products with their production testing and manufacturing service applications.

?Lead evangelism and adoption of our manufacturing software development kit with our partners.

?Up to 40% travel may be required

Requirements:

?5+ years of managing a regional team with demonstrated track record of strong leadership. Experience with building a team from ground up is a strong plus.

?Proven ability to forge and optimize resources to provide field support and develop needed applications. Experience in manufacture support a strong plus.

?5+ years’ hands on experience in software and hardware development with entertainment delivery solutions such as set-top-boxes, video-centric, or networking CE devices

?Strong technical ability with good understanding of the principles underlying company-related technologies

?Skilled communicator with excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills: Ability to succinctly communicate and lead technical discussions with partners and internal functional teams.

?Fluent English is required for reading, writing, and speaking.

?Partners prefer to work with you due to you being highly reliable and a skilled and charismatic communicator

?Bachelor’s degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. MS degree is preferred.
