Responsibilities of Position:
This position supports the One Honeywell IT Enablement Model, executing the global enablement strategy for Honeywell East China sites which covers Shanghai, Suzhou, Nanjing, Zhangjiagang, Nantong, and Chuzhou. The position plays critical role in providing IT service for 21 sites (R&D, plants, and offices) and 5300 users across East China sites. This role owns end-to-end accountability and manages site-based IT resource to support IT operation, drives consistent IT performance by ensuring on-site, face-to-face engagement, familiarity with local regulations, Honeywell personnel, leadership, culture and practice.
Lead development, deployment, and ongoing management of site based support for infrastructure and end user applications
Adopt and practice Honeywell Operation System principles, including conduct of tier meetings
Develop and manage a highly motivated team to improve customer productivity and satisfactory with one Honeywell approach
Liaison with global executive care team to ensure process, metrics, and talents with knowledgeable skill in place for executive support service
Support the site based deployment, and establishment of ongoing management framework for new or enhanced service offerings as defined by ITE functions
Demonstrate a strong customer-oriented service, drive strong partnership with IT business partners, supplier partners, and enterprise services organization to ensure a consistent user experience
Liaison with Service Owners to ensure documentation, training, communications and metrics are in place for comprehensive deployment for East China sites
Work with IT business partners to assess demand in the East China sites. Ensure all intelligence is collected, analyzed and shared with enterprise service organization to fulfill business needs
Support the IT business partners for East China sites VoC / OVoC
Manage the operating financial costs for the East China sites budget so that cost targets are achieved as outlined in AOP
Oversee deployments and project delivery across East China sites
Manage and support initiatives towards stronger IT compliance posture
Educate the functions/businesses on the Honeywell IT support model and key service delivery processes
Conduct supplier negotiations and performance review to ensure service is delivered as per SLA
Manage site based direct reports and supplier partner teams
Basic Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in related technology / business area and minimum 5 years of leadership experience
Experience in both applications and infrastructure
Ability to communicate effectively in proactive manner
Strong business acumen and customer centric
Project management experience
Outgoing personality is preferred
Good command of written and spoken English
Preferred Qualification
Masters Degree in related technology / business area
Good understanding of infrastructure. Application related experience in Honeywell a plus
Contemporary business thinker with strong business acumen
Excellent Leadership Skills: ability to motivate team, develop talents to drive better customer-centric IT service
Excellent Communication Skills: ability to influence internal / external customers, suppliers, and team members to drive best outcome for Honeywell
Account Management Skills: Develop strong working relationships with internal customers and take end-to-end ownership for meeting / exceeding customer needs throughout a program lifecycle
Experience in handling critical incident resolution, solving problem and managing crisis. Demonstrate strategic thinking to take best course of action for the enterprise
Project Management Skills: Serving as liaison between the stakeholders, IT integration and other Enterprise group for infrastructure projects. Ensuring timeline, scope and resource alignment
Knowledge of security concepts, standards
Six Sigma certified
