Essential Responsibilities

• Manage various software development projects in the business of new product introduction and major sustaining activities. Ensure the success of software projects from inception to delivery of its entire lifecycle.
• Understand business opportunities and marketing plan to drive technology solutions. Own the design and development of the software modules and systems.
• Manage project scheduling, resource planning and cross team coordination.
• Communicate project plans, tracking details, status updates and risk to product managers and stake holder.
• Provide technical expertise and leadership in the design and development of new system, device and supporting tools.
• Drive the design and development of user interaction models, workflows and user interfaces
• Lead the creation of software frameworks and modules and authoring detailed design specifications
• Work with other technical leaders to improve and refine platform/system/device

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or related
• 5+ years' experience of leading large software projects within a global environment.
• Demonstrated project leadership experience
• Expert in development methodologies, such as Agile/Scrum, etc.
• Experience in Visual Studio, C/C++, C#/.NET, SQL, XML, and JAVA
• Experience in embedded software design
• In depth understanding of complete lifecycle of product conceptualization and delivery
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
• Good team player, ability to work across disciplines, organizations
• "Can do" attitude, embrace challenge with enthusiasm
• Quick learner, self-starter
• Excellent communication skills, excellent written and oral English

Desired Characteristics

• Versed in industrial fieldbus technology
• Familiar with FDT-DTM/OPC and other automation software technology
• Certification in project management
• Ability to lead the junior and senior members of the software development team.
• Familiar with process automation related technical regulations and standards.
• Knowledge of valve products or process control
