Role Summary/Purpose

Work in a global and multi-disciplinary team, develop highly reliable hydraulic control system, provide direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives.

Essential Responsibilities

•Lead and participate in the design and development of hydraulic control system, with EE,SW,ME functions, and provide assistance to both internal and external customers; compiling customer requirement and design proposal as the major roles;
•Do hydraulic control system solution proposal and architecture;
•Do planning, operation management of project, also set up corresponding procedures as task needs;
•Lead implementation of hydraulic control system solution architecture, and be responsible for design documents, test procedures, installation procedures, troubleshooting guides… etc;
•Provide technical support to customers, manufacturing, sales and field services
•Participate in team's assignment to address specific organizational initiatives;
•Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures;
•Adhere to product quality processes and procedures;
•Guide junior engineers on technical development path;

Qualifications/Requirements

Desired Characteristics

•Knowledge of Oil and Gas applications, such as drilling, subsea production, it's a plus;
•DCS/PLC control system design and validation as a plus;
•Six Sigma training preferred (GE Employees Only)
