Role Summary/Purpose

The Lead Electrical Service Engineer provides electrical and control expertise support to Inspection Technologies service team in project execution and/or aftermarket service activities.

Essential Responsibilities

• Be responsible for troubleshooting of electronic system problem in Testing Machine.
• Be responsible for PLC/ Application program modification in project commissioning.
• Interface between electrical design engineers and field service engineers.
• Provide support to Technical Support engineer for quick response of customer request.
• Build electrical & control expertise in the service team, conduct training and case sharing regularly.
• Make service contract proposal such as retrofit, upgrade etc.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in electrical control with a minimum 5 years hands-on experience in service or engineering role
• Familiarity / Expertise with Siemens PLC in troubleshooting, reprogramming and configuration etc.
• Familiarity / Expertise with Analog and digital circuits such as: filters, transistors, interfaces & signal conditioning, mixed-signals, power supplies, logic, microcontrollers and memory
• Familiarity / Expertise with EMI / EMC concepts, analysis and mitigation.
• Strong ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Experience in steel & aviation manufacturing environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
