Job Description:
Reporting to the Internal Control Director China Operation, you will be in a leading role to establishing the effective and efficient controls in the manufacturing plants, also be responsible to suspect the control implementation. Dealing with different operation functions within the plants, you will also gain exposure to the plant management team.

Major Responsibilities:
-Understand the Volvo Car Corporation internal control procedure requirements as well as the China Operation local procedures and implement them at manufacturing plants in Volvo China operations, mainly for the Chengdu plant at first and later on may extend to other plants.
-Understand the manufacturing process and document the process narratives for manufacturing plants and other relevant procedures/process within the plant.
-Maintain objectivity, independence, and due professional care consistent with VCC and external standards.
-Improve plant's organizational efficiency and operating environment by performing regular business processes evaluation and polices optimization.
-Perform regular training and ongoing supporting to the function teams for Volvo Car -Corporation internal control requirements and support the function teams complete the internal control self-assessment (MCRP) on time, review the testing result and ensure the quality.
-Ensure efficient implementation of corrective actions for issues identified.
-Play an important role in business system implementation (e.g., SAP, SRM, SI+ etc.) consolidating the requirements from PRC GAAP and IFRS as well as efficiency of cross-function processes.
-Work closely with accounting team to ensure the group Finance Manual is properly followed in all respective accounting areas, performs balance sheet reviews together with plant FC to identify accounting issues and the remediation actions.

Requirement:
-Undergraduate degree, with major in accounting, finance, economics, or related fields.
-5+ years working experience in both CPA firm and MNCs, working experience in a manufacturing plant is a must.
-Strong knowledge of control concepts and practices, previous experience for SOX is preferred.
-Ability to proactively execute internal control programs and reviews.
-Strong interpersonal, logical thinking and reasoning, problem-solving skills.
-High levels of ethics, integrity and objectivity.
-Be familiar with both PRC GAAP and IFRS.
-Knowledge of SAP, Hyperion and other accounting/reporting system.
-Team player, hands on person who is willing to work with other team members and cross function teams.
-Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
