ABOUT DIRECT HR:
DIRECT HR IS A PREMIUM CHINA-FOCUSED RECRUITMENT FIRM SPECIALIZED IN SUPPORTING LEADING EUROPEAN, AMERICAN AND CHINESE EMPLOYERS WITH THEIR TALENT ACQUISITION IN CHINA.

An international Fortune 500 company with leading technologies and solutions in producing air gases
Salary:
Competitive Salary (depending on experience)
Starting date:
As soon as possible
Location:
Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China
Reporting to:
Head of Detail Design and General Manager
Travelling:
Yes, 25% of the time for visiting customers installation
Recruitment process:
+ Telephone interviews
+ Face-to-face interviews
Responsibilities:
+ Manage the Detail Design group
+ Directs the work of the Detail Design Group up to the time of award of contracts, with responsibility for the quality of the detail design, and the accuracy of the costing
+ Ensure human resources management of the Group (resources allocation validation, training etc.)
+ Follow up and planning of team load
+ Ensure that projects are all designed in compliance with the expected safety, reliability, quality and performance for the detail Engineering part
+ Define training plans for his group
+ Set quality objectives for the different groups
+ Supervise detail design activities
+ Make sure all technical / design are reviewed and validated, through formal project reviews arrangement
+ Coordination between each grouping detail design phase
+ Ensure technical development and IP follow up
Requirements:
+ Bachelor degree or above in Sciences / Engineering
+ Master in Engineering is Preferred
+ 10 years working experience
+ Experienced Technical Manager in Project Management or Product Development
+ Experienced in people management
+ Experience in one (or more) of the following:
Piping engineering or design
Pressure vessel
Instrumentation
Civil Engineering
System Control (DCS)
Air Seperation Unit (good but not a must)
+ Strong Mechanical engineering knowledge
+ Strong Leadership Capacity
+ Detail-Oriented
+ Able to follow dead-lines, and respect budgets
+ Speak Chinese Mandarin as mother language
+ Good English language skill is required, fluent English is preferred
