Essential Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain quality systems and business processes using quality engineering practices and up to date technology, such as web based systems, lean manufacturing, and quality tools.
• Develop and implement processes related to material / product verification and validation requirements in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Responsible for various audits from internal, ISO and Customer to ensure quality system is continuously effective and have a successful customer audit.
• Responsible for supplier management and push the quality improvement by monitoring and on-site or yearly audit, verify effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions
• Dealing with various quality problems and customer complaints, investigate root reasons and take effective corrective and preventive actions
• Provides fact based metrics and data analysis related to quality goals.
• Manages internal compliance activities with regulatory and licenses agencies.
• Lead, develop and engage quality team, e.g. Quality Engineers, inspectors and other staff
• Manages budgetary activities associated with group objectives and responsibilities.
• Any job duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications/Requirements

• University degree in engineering major
• Minimum 8 years of experience in quality engineering, quality system planning and quality improvement methods
• Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization, the ability to influence and effect change, and the ability to coach, lead and consult, are strongly desired.
• Should be process oriented and a change agent for the entire organization
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Fluent in both Chinese and English (read, write, and speak)

Desired Characteristics

· Additional leadership experience in the areas of Operations, Manufacturing, or Quality
· Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification
· Executive level presentation skills
· Demonstrated ability to excel in all customer service areas
· Responsible for meeting customer / business needs as well as developing direct reports
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
