Main Tasks

· Planning & Performance Management

Be responsible for coordination and timely submission of Operational Planning;

In accordance with the instructions from BU regional financial controller and local supervisor, lead the budgeting process for BSC regarding budget timeline, data inputs, management review and approval;

Lead the monthly forecasting process at BSC and propose top down forecasting to supervisor and management;

Work as leader within business controlling to develop / apply tools, systems and performance metrics (eg. sales, GM, EBIT, costs, working capital, credit assessment) to provide quality financial information to facilitate responsive decision-making and financial disclosure needs requested by management.

· Business Analysis

Act as ECO focal for Operational Controlling;

Provide regular analysis (eg. variances analysis, key metrics reports etc.);

Proactively identify deviations and establish action plans to take corrective actions when required;

Develop forward-looking and predictive models to provide insightful analysis on actual business versus budget and plan;

Make recommendation to management on profit improvement measures;

Support management team in achieving KPI targets;

Prepare business decisions and support in contract negotiations with relevant controlling data;

Cost monitoring / management.

· Governance & Compliance

Implement, maintain & track company’s budgeting and reporting policies and practices;

Ensure adequate internal controls are in place and compliance with group financial standards, policies and procedures and reporting requirements as well as local statutory requirements;

Arrange and manage insurance issues at company level (except for personal related insurance);

Proactively and continuously assess and review internal controls pertaining to the changes of business / operational environment. When necessary, initiate changes to the business processes and control systems to ensure strong control environment is maintained in the business.

· Interface Management & HR Management

Initiate projects for optimization and standardization;

Update procedures and coordinate SAP implementation in project;

Act as controlling focal for Coatings Excellence at BSC;

Assist in HR management activities (eg. recruiting, training, employee development programs etc.).

Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position

· Education: Bachelor or above

· Working Experience: more than 8 years’ working experience in Planning & Analysis and Controlling, preferably in Automotive / Coatings industry

Technical & Professional Knowledge: Excellent knowledge in MS Office; experience in MRP software; good communication skills both in English and Chinese; IT user skills
