About This Job
HSE specialist will be the focal point in Western China area to maintain high Health Safety and Environmental standards at work in conjunction with contractor, vendor and customer. Rewarding package will be offered including chances to learn/ develop HSE technical and managerial in a variety of aspects and for overseas assignments.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
HSE specialist will report to HSE manager North Asia Geomarket and location manager. As part of location leadership team, HSE specialist is responsible for Assist with the development and implementation of sales strategies for Cementing North Asia area.
? Coaching/ mentoring employee and/or contractor workforces to build Interdependent Health Safety Environment culture;
? Providing technical expertise/ know-hows to location teams to ensure excellent Health Safety Environment excellence including but not necessarily limited to
o Providing training/ orientation or organizing meeting/ workshops to communicate company/ statutory requirements to workforces;
o Organizing/ participating audit/ inspection to verify compliance with company/ statutory requirements and driving for closure of action items;
o Leading/ participating accident/ incident investigation and driving for closure of follow-up action items;
o Coordinating/ collaborating with location team for safety and fleet management;
o Developing and implementing Health Safety Environment plan/ goals for assigned locations;
o Promoting Baker Hughes Health Safety Environment initiatives on personal and process safety;
o Reviewing and communication Health Safety Environment performance on regular basis;
? Collaborating with customers to ensure compliance with customer requirements and build/ maintain healthy relationship;
? Liaising with governmental agencies to ensure statutory requirements are met and
? Completing other assignments from HSE manager.

Qualifications/Requirements
? Bachelor degree in science/ engineering;
? 7 years plus work experience on Health Safety Environment management preferably in oil and gas industry;
? Being conversant with Chinese laws/ regulation on occupational health safety and environment;
? Good and applied English skills;
? Being a team player and embrace synergism;
? Willingness and ability to perform well under pressure;
? Can accept 30% to 40% travelling schedule

Preferred qualifications/requirements
? NEBOSH IGC certificate
? Certificate of registered safety engineer in China
? 3 years plus work experience in international companies;
