Role Summary/Purpose

To manage costing process and to take initiatives to support supply chain and sourcing in cost out, productivity improvement, inventory management. This role will work closely with FP&A, controllership and operation team.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Responsible for cost accounting/inventory related company policy compliance and the appropriateness of internal controls and risk management;
2. Ensure timely and accurate monthly/quarterly/annual closing;
3. Prepare monthly/quarterly forecast and annual budget for cost and capital expenditure with functional management team;
4. Analyze operating results against budgeting/forecast and work closely with operations team to drive cost out and productivity;
5. Control product/project cost to optimize product margin by professional analysis and closely monitoring with improvement action.
6. Work with engineering/sourcing to set up and maintain standard cost;
7. Take lead physical inventory counts, plans and manages the counting event and makes the count variance report. Follow-up of cycle counting in warehouse.
8. Ad hoc reports.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Bachelor degree or above in accounting/finance;
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Work experience in a MNC is highly recommended. Technical insight to understand our products and manufacturing processes.
3. Solid experiences of cost accounting, standard costing, reporting, budgeting, and auditing practices;
4. Proficiency skills in Excel and PowerPoint, Oracle experience will be a plus;
5. Good written and oral communications skills in both English and Chinese;
6. Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
