Essential Responsibilities

- Provide leadership to drive growth in business cooperation between GE & China supplier base.
- Primary Technical and quality management Interface with Suppliers and work closely with business division of GE OG on the following:
- Initial Supplier Screening (QS/Technical assessment/EHS)
- Conduct First Piece Qualification/Pilot qualification
- Be Communication Interface with DE/Pole/COE/Eng./M&PE/ SQE’s
- Validate the Eng. Change implement in Suppliers
- Conduct Product/Process Surveillance Audits
- Perform Process Audits (CTQ Review)
- Drive Continuous Process Improvements (Evaluation & Qualifications)
- Lead and verify the Corrective Action implementation for non-conforming materials.
- Manage Corrective Action Resolution
- Establish a structured approach for consistency and adherence to quality procedures and Requirements.
- Aid in supplier approval process, perform Manufacturing and technology, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) risk analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement of supplier’s quality, cycle, and delivery performance through lean Six Sigma.
- Work closely with GE Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Engineering to eliminate road-blocks and communication barriers that may effect quality and delivery requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements

• BS/MS Material Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Machining background, at least 5 years hands-on supplier quality management or supplier technical development or quality management at workshop
• Experience in quality or supplier technical development in Oil &Gas field, especially in control valve and safety valve is preferred.
• Lean six sigma GB or equivalent experience is preferred
