Role Summary/Purpose:
Essential Responsibilities:

- Waukesha gas engine sales focus on compression application
- Achieve business operation plan for gas engine sales focus on compression
- Build up key relationship and contact with End Users (customers), Packagers (OEM) and Distributors
- Relations with compressor and pump manufactures (OEM) and familiarity with their market application and strengths/weaknesses
- Ongoing support to territory end users of GE Engine products
- Key resource for facilitating information and assistance to end users, OEM and Distributor regional office associates (by directing and/or utilizing factory resources)
- Ability to influence purchase decisions at all levels of End User organizations
- Establishing and maintain positive Key relations with all levels of End User, OEM and distributor organizations
- Conduct frequent product presentations at End Users and update OEM as required
- Provide project tracking information to GE manufacturing associates to accurately forecast plant production
- Utilize company resources as appropriate to maintain seamless customer support
- Assist in development and participation of domestic and international trade shows
- Maintain contacts with territorial Oil and Gas companies to understand project requirements and provide information on engine technology
- Establishing relations and engaging with EPCs (design institutes) in the territory.

Desired Characteristics:

- The successful candidate will have a BS degree in engineering with a minimum of 5 -10 years’ proven experience in Gas fueled Engine or Compressor Sales (preferred). Specific market experience, product knowledge and relations can be substituted for aforementioned degree.

- Thorough knowledge of the gas compression and power generation market is required. Proven experience in successfully selling gas compression and power generation to Oil & Gas companies, Packagers (OEM), or distributions is also required.
