Essential Responsibilities

- Work closely with global engineering service team and Commercial & sales from initial opportunity identification through order conversion and participate in creating the business strategy by providing critical technical input.
- Build technical capability to provide engineering service for after-market service opportunities for plant retrofit, capacity expanding, feedstock changes, work scope covers screen study, feasibility study, technical proposal development, process simulation and design.
-Develop test plan and execute validation test of new product/components/process technology in China customers’ plants. Support the continuous improvement of products.
- Support and coordinate with interfacing / integrating scope, cost and schedule across different product lines such as Gasification, Thermal, Water, Oil &Gas to develop value-added solutions for chemical/power gen customers.
- Provide field service to China plants including plant initial commissioning and startup, operational / components issues troubleshooting and resolving.

Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree or above in Chemical engineering/Thermal Engineering/chemical equipment/mechanical engineering
- Minimum of 3 years gasification experience in one or more areas of Gasification /Coal Chemical/petrochemical and/or IGCC design or projects, refining and/or chemical plant design experience of the following areas: heat transfer, kinetics, thermodynamics, mass transfer, and fluid flow characteristics.
- Experience in Large-scale chemical/polygen/IGCC projects technical feasibility study is desired. Plant commissioning and operation experience are desired.
- Sound design and analytical background, Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems.
- Fluent in English, Strong oral and written communication skills, Able to interface effectively within the organization and external customers.
- Ability and willingness to travel as required.
