Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities
- Work with Partner / Supplier as the local contact for both manufacturing technology transfer and project management.
- Organize and support technical training, ensure accurate transfer of technical information and complete understanding of the partners.
- Identify partners’ in house localization scope including Gas Turbine assembly and test. Lead those localization projects and ensure adherence to GE quality standards.
- Establish and monitor project milestones to ensure progress.
- Establish a structured approach for consistency and adherence to quality procedures and requirements.
- Work closely with various divisions of GE P&W, overseas and local suppliers to support partners’ localization efforts.
- Aid in supplier approval process – manufacturing, technology, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) risk analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement of partner/Supplier’s quality, cycle, and delivery performance through Six Sigma.

Qualifications/Requirements
- BS/MS Engineering Degree.
- 5 years or more on hands-on experiences in larger power generation component manufacturing – practical manufacturing (shop floor) exposure.
- Strong project management skills – set up and track milestones, facilitate progress resourcefully. Supplier quality management or supplier technical development experience preferred.
- Work experience in Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine or Generator design, manufacturing, assembling or testing is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills: background in interpretation of blueprints/specifications, metrology, and manufacturing process planning/ evaluation.
- Ability to work in cross-functional, global team environment.
- Passion for excellence with high integrity, commitment to quality, fluent in oral and written in English, is willing to take frequent travel.
