JOB DETAILS
Job Purpose
This position provides Project Management for new product development projects
Key Responsibilities
1This position has overall project management responsibility
2Manages the development and implementation process of projects involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing projects
3Monitors projects from initiation through delivery
4Ensures successful completion of assigned product development projects within budget and timelines.
5Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles
6Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments
7Provides day-to-day project leadership and management for assigned projects by working with project teams and motivating them to succeed
8Takes corrective action as required to maintain project costs, schedule and scope; exercises authority by taking a lead role in decision making
9Manages multiple continuation engineering or product enhancement projects
10Frequently interacts with peers and customers to gain cooperation of others or conducts presentations of complex technical information/project activities.
11Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
12Contributes to finding new market opportunities.
13Skilled use Protel99SE or Protel DXP or Altium Designer SummerBuild 9.0.
14Skilled use Altera Quartus.
15Skilled use Matlab ,
16Skilled use Code Composer Studio .
17Skilled use standard C language.
18Must have proficient English skills.
KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Acts as an advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. administers schedules, performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities.

Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.

Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company. Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team. Networks with senior internal/external personnel in own area of expertise.
Leadership
A experienced manager, perhaps through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of activities of a department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing knowledge/skill. Resolves wide range of issues in creative and effective ways.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE
(Education, qualifications and experience requirements an employee must have)
1, An Engineering degree In Electrical Engineering (B. Sc. or M.Sc.) with specialization in Power Electronics and AC drives is required.
2, Typically require at least 8 years(B. Sc.)/5 years (M.Sc) experience in ac drives, motor control algorithms and power electronics. Familiarity with design details for MV applications and MV products such as AC drives and soft starters
3, PMP certification
4, 3-5 years' experience in project management role ideally in a product development environment. 1-3 years' as a project lead or project manager.
5, Demonstrates knowledge of project management processes and tools; Project Management Professional certification or equivalent education, knowledge of design, development tools and methodologies (such as stage gate product development procedures, DfSS tools, etc.)
6,Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills
7,Ability to analyze and make informed decisions, guiding the team through the decision-making process
8,Ability to exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
9, Looks for ways to maximize the economic value-added impact of projects; understands the impact of one's responsibility on the project's success.
10, Knows when to act and when to escalate the decision-making process; considers alternate solutions and perspectives before making decisions.
11, Demonstrates understanding of the business environment in which RA operates; draws accurate conclusions from financial and quantitative data.
12, Uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.
