ABOUT DIRECT HR:
DIRECT HR IS A PREMIUM CHINA-FOCUSED RECRUITMENT FIRM SPECIALIZED IN RECRUITING PROFESSIONALS IN FINANCE & ACCOUNTING, SALES & MARKETING AND HUMAN RESOURCES FOR LEADING EUROPEAN, AMERICAN AND CHINESE EMPLOYERS IN CHINA.

Our client is a Leading Spirits & Wine Company from Europe with 8 offices across China and they are looking for a Finance Director to support their further business expansion.
Salary:
Attractive Package (depending on experience)

Reporting to:
Regional Head of Finance based in Hong Kong
Team size:
18 team members
Travelling:
30% within China
Recruitment process:
3 Rounds of Face to Face interviews
Responsibilities:
> Governance
+ Develop Policies and Procedures specific to China in line with GHQ guidelines and executive these
+ Ensure China meets all corporate dates and deliverables for financial forecasts, financial reporting and analysis. You are the overall GHQ contact for any of their China questions/comments
+ Lead the development of financial forecasts including Annual Operating Plan, and forecast for the current year performance
> Financial Analysis
+ Provide financial and management support in all areas of the business in accordance with local legislation and accounting policies and procedures – including plant/cost accounting and measurement
+ Review plant scorecards, COGS savings initiatives and provide results to AST and GHQ
> Audit / Tax / Treasury / Risk Management Role
+ Provide financial and management support to each of the business units and potential new acquisitions for tax accounting/reporting, cash and risk management, sound internal control environment. Ensure all internal accounting procedures and policies are sound and in compliance with local and RPC Corporate policies.
Requirements:
The Successful Applicant
+ University Degree in finance & accounting with 15 years of relevant experience holding a similar position or a senior finance management position/head of department post in a commercial environment, particularly in Consumer and / or multinational, European companies
+ MBA, Qualified Certified Public Accountant or equivalent is highly considered, but not mandatory.
+ Knowledge of ERP systems / software. Understands the impact systems can have on decision making, business planning and controls
+ A self starter, this person can migrate systems from World Headquarters and recommend more efficient approach to facilitate effective business requirements
+ Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of commitment, maturity and confidence and ability to communicate with associates, customers, trade associations and government officials
+ Strong accounting, financial analysis and planning/forecasting skills. Able to plan own and others work to meet corporate and regional deliverables on due dates
+ Strong financial acumen and ability to work with the team to build solid long term strategic plan for the business
+ Experience in the process and analysis of acquisitions
+ Excellent Project management, process improvement skills, and the ability to drive change
+ Hands-on experience in using computer, MS Office, manufacturing software, MRPII, financial modeling and analysis
+ Good business English, speaking, writing and reading
+ Speak Mandarin and other Chinese dialects is an advantage
+ Willing to travel to different BU in China, while being based in Shanghai.
+ Proficient in Microsoft applications – Excel, word, outlook and powerpoint
