ABOUT DIRECT HR:
DIRECT HR IS A PREMIUM CHINA-FOCUSED RECRUITMENT FIRM SPECIALIZED IN RECRUITING PROFESSIONALS IN FINANCE & ACCOUNTING, SALES & MARKETING AND HUMAN RESOURCES FOR LEADING EUROPEAN, AMERICAN AND CHINESE EMPLOYERS IN CHINA.
Client:
Our client is a Leading European Manufacturing company with a strong commitment towards China. Due to the global expansion and China focus strategy, they are seeking for an experienced Tax Manager to provide oversight and guidance in charge of China tax compliance.
Salary:
Competitive Package (depending on experience)
Starting date:
As soon as possible
Location:
Downtown location in Shanghai
# of subordinates:
2 direct reports
Reporting to:
Head of Tax
Team size:
6 team members
Travelling:
Limited
Recruitment process:
3 Rounds of Face to Face interviews
Responsibilities:
+ Develop, implement and maintain transfer pricing policies/mark-ups and documentation
+ Provide advice and education on tax matters
+ Coordinate with Compliance department regarding PRC and overseas Tax regulation (EU and US)
+ Tax filings, including income tax, VAT, GST and business tax
+ Tax Controversy
+ Direct and coordinate both direct and indirect tax audits
+ Build and lead an internal tax function
+ Coordinate with cross functional and cross regional teams
+ Coordinate with local tax regulators
Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting/tax
+ Above 5 years of relevant direct and indirect tax experience in multinational companies, manufacturing industry experience is a plus
+ CPA or related qualification is a strong plus
+ Extensive experience in tax rules in Asia, Europe and America
+ Strong teamwork and independent working capability
+ Strong relationships management skills both external and internal
+ Fluent in both English and Chinese in writing, reading, and speaking
+ Big 4 experience is a plus
