This is a Contractor Role.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Marketing Communications Specialist 5 will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, & processes for an area or business segment. In this role you will utilize experience or expertise to solve problems, develop & execute objectives for self & others, & have the ability to effect short-term & some long-term business goals.

· Create, produce, & oversee internal / external communications; may act as a spokesperson for the Company providing timely responses to media requests

· Provide information to employees, industry, & public to support business objectives

· Produce communication products in support of marketing needs & special programs for internal &/or external customers

· Provide consultation / direction in the preparation of marketing aids

· Develop, implement, & manage key marketing / sales support processes related to proposals, presentations, & other marketing information

· Provide videography, photography, presentation, graphic art, or other services relative to creative communications material: conduct / oversee all approval phases in production schedules

· Organize & plan personal work efforts; provide technical guidance to ensure effective presentation of material and maximum use of available time

· Investigate / remain current with applicable state-of-the-art technology & incorporate where practicable

· Serve as writer and/or editor for communications (publications, press releases, speeches, announcements, articles, etc.) for use with internal / external audiences

· Develop, direct, & monitor comprehensive communication programs in support of business goals / initiatives as required on specific projects & strategies

· Coordinate communication elements of business-wide projects / programs

· Serve as a clearinghouse for materials intended for public dissemination

· Represent the Company on various internally / externally focused committees & teams and serve as a liaison regarding contributions & local political interfacing issues

Qualifications Required:

· Bachelor degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in a Marketing or communications position)

· At least 3 additional years of experience in all aspects of marketing communications including advertising, sales promotion, and press relations, with exposure to market development / marketing of high technology products
