KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Serve as Project Manager reporting into PM/SPM/PD for domestic and/or international (typically global) projects for one or more clients, according to SMO Standard Operating Procedures, ICH Guidelines and GCP
2. Responsible for the successful conduct of assigned projects.
3. Serve as Project Manager for assigned business development opportunities.
4. Liaise with senior management in the Project Management and Clinical Operations as well other Service Delivery Centers to ensure adequate resources are available for assigned projects.
5. Responsible for assisting the PM/SPM/PD to achieve on time, on-budget provision of client deliverables for assigned projects.
JOB-HOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
1. A Bachelor Degree in a medical, health, or science related are, or a nursing degree
-In lieu of the above requirement, candidates with three (3) or more years of relevant clinical research experience in pharmaceutical, CRO industries or experience in a health care setting will be considered.
2. Thorough knowledge of ICH Guidelines and GCP including a basic understanding of regulatory requirements.
3. Experience as a Senior Clinical Research Associate, whether internal or external
4. Related field ( global oncology or diabetes trials) is preferred.
5. Ability to train and supervise junior staff.
6. Ability to understand and work with financial information as well as experience predicting or estimating hours and resource levels
7. Ability to resolve project-related problems and prioritizes workload for self and team.
8. Good verbal and written communication skills.
9. Good team player, self-motivated and attention to details.
10. Demonstrated leadership, influence and problem-solving skills.
11. Strong customer focused sensitivity towards internal and external customers
12. Must be able to travel.
