ABOUT DIRECT HR:

Our client is a German Automotive Components Manufacturer.

Reporting to:
Tolling Supervisor
Recruitment process:
+ Telephone interviews
+ Face-to-face interviews
Responsibilities:
Tooling Assembly and Maintenance for custom tools, modify & finishing of supplied tools, optimization of tool standards, tool training.
+ New tool & die assembly and tryout until series production start-up
+ Repair and preventive maintenance of Progressive dies, Transfer dies & tooling fixtures
+ Handling and improvement of tools, gauges & fixtures
+ Executing of tooling maintenance and CIP tasks
+ Definition of tool adjustment, spare parts & maintenance tasks
+ Function tryout and single part adjustment
+ Training for tooling skills (for local toolmaker and press operator)
+ Taking part in FMEA-discussion
+ Independent work in closed cooperation to periphery departments
+ Taking part in tooling discussions
+ Working parallel on more work orders
+ Confirmation of the working process in BDE
+ Tool management: coordinating and controlling the tool releasing time line together with production logistics & planer department acc. to internal tool status
+ Post-discussions for tool development, tooling structure, define of internal standards (tooling and processes)
+ Cooperation and feedback to tool design department for all tool data
+ Cooperation with tooling leader about training structures, developments & results
Requirements:
+ Above high school or technical school degree, mechanical or mold related background
+ At least 10 years experience with tooling assembly, repair and adjustment (experience with progressive die & transfer die)
+ High experience for the functional directions: stamping, drawing - deep drawing & molding
+ Able to evolve independent work structures
+ Good quality sense
+ Very good knowledge for tool & tryout analysis, mechanical drawings; reading of measuring reports
+ Good skills for training and introducing of tool knowledge
+ General computer skill
+ Good press knowledge preferred
+ Native German language skills and Good English language skills
