MISSION


？ The Quality Coordinator on site promotes, applies and coordinates the quality approach set out by the Group, helping the operational teams on site implement the quality standards.
？ He/She ensures that the Quality measures are enforced, with a view towards continuing improvement.

ACTIVITIES


？ Assists and advises management or operational employees on the implementation and use of quality measures
？ Supervises and manages the implementation of quality improvement plans
？ Performs assessments and checks on compliance with quality standards
？ Conduct training for on-site operators on a regular basis
？ Records non-compliance, formalize action plan, implement and correct
？ Follows up results and KPI
？ Collects information and prepares quality reviews on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
？ Is in charge of documentation management : updates, distribution and archiving (standards, procedures…)
？ Work closely with GEFCO ASOR/China Quality corporate team: audit, actions plan, implementation of new standards and other quality improvements methods
？ Contributes to Customers satisfaction and provide required information to Customer service team

？ Implement and check compliance with GEFCO FVL quality standards to continuously improve performances (applicable to GEFCO and suppliers)

Asia is a top priority in GEFCO’s growth strategy. With a presence in China and especially in Hong Kong, the Group operates across the entire region through a network of partners. China is on track to becoming the world’s largest automobile market and GEFCO’s aim is to focus its expertise in this area and then extend it to other industrial sectors.

Started operation since 2003 and became 100% integrated subsidiary in 2008, GEFCO’s presence in China is confirmed by four entities, covering 10 cities. GEFCO China offers door-to-door sea or air transportation service; designs and implements logistics solution for global sourcing supply chain. It also brings its profound expertise in inbound logistics, in-plant logistics as well as logistics expertise in finished vehicles to the China market. GEFCO Hong Kong specialises in intercontinental maritime, air traffic as well as warehousing service. The Dongfeng GEFCO joint-venture is specialised in inbound freight logistics. The new SMGL joint-venture (a partnership with Minsheng Shipping), manages inbound and outbound logistics of the new CAPSA site (Chang’an Automobile PSA) based in Shenzhen.
