Roles & Responsibilities职责简述
The Lead Applications Engineer will be responsible for providing technical leadership to a team of application engineers to receive transferred power system protection, control and automation technology and establish an ongoing development capability to produce sophisticated protection, control and automation equipment to manage the electric power grid.

Primary Responsibilities主要职责:
? Become expert on the applications of the transferred product technology;

? Develop detailed functional specifications describing algorithms and test plans;

? Perform system studies and simulations using appropriate tools to validate protection algorithms;

? Analyze user requirements to recommend appropriate solutions;

? Work with Customer Support personnel to resolve product, process, and customer issues;

? Provide technical consultation to cross-functional teams to improve or resolve manufacturing, products, applications or field issues;

? Author technical papers and present materials at tradeshows and conferences;

Qualifications Required 人员要求:
? More than 5 years development experience in protection and automation products;
5年以上保护和自动化产品的开发经验；
? More than 2 years of technical leadership experience;
2年以上的技术团队的领导经验；
? Knowledge of modern protection, control and distribution automation practices and trends. Utility experience using GE protection and automation products preferred;
熟悉最新保护、控制和配网自动化产品的使用和动态，具有GE保护和自动化产品在电力系统的应用经验者优先；
? Working knowledge of simulation tools such as RTDS, PSCAD or ATP/EMTP and MATLAB;
