Principle Objectives:

This position will be mainly responsible for performing analysis on cosmetic product and raw material using conventional analytical techniques and, analyzing product actives, method development, in-vitro SPF analysis and providing additional analytical support for formulating chemists.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for analyzing raw materials and cosmetic products using wet chemistry and instrumental methods of analysis within a specified time frame.

2. Develop new analytical methods when necessary.

3. Perform stability testing for cosmetic products.

4. Manage and coordinate analytical testing and results with third party testing facilities.

5. In-vitro SPF analysis of all sunscreen products.

6. Communicate and cooperate with global and regional Analytical Service teams to provide analytical support

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor or Master Degree in Chemistry/Pharmacy.

2. 5 years+ of analytical working experience for cosmetics (preferred)/pharmacy.

3. Proficiency in analytical instrumentation including HPLC, LC-MS, GC, GC/MS, FT-IR, and X-ray Fluorescence.

4. Experience in complex analysis and new method development.

5. Proficiency inwet chemistry techniques like water content measurement with Karl Fischer, titrtion, melting point measurement, viscosity measurement and in vitro SPF measurement.

6. Excellent communication in English;

7. Strong responsibility, networking, team-building and project-management skills.
