DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

? Analysis of MNO Specific requirements, 3GPP specifications.

? Creation of Feasibility document for the requirements.

? Development of 5G and LTE protocol test scripts, as well as of other technologies (2G, GPRS, E-GPRS, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA)

? Reviewing the protocol scripts developed by other team members.

? Debugging, enhancing or fixing of the existing protocol scripts.

? Executing the protocol scripts manually or in automation.

? Verification of a collections of scripts.

? Gain in-depth knowledge of PRT product and any related Keysight solution.

? Providing technical support to Lab engineers in MNO labs and helping in development, verification and validation of protocol scripts.

? Liaise with PRT/Platform team technical experts to resolve protocol implementation issues and on the enhancements required.

? Ownership of Packaging and Releasing of the scripts on-time.

? Following set process and contributing to setting the processes in all phases of the development life cycle

? Status reporting to various stakeholders

? Identification and Mitigation of Risks

? Travelling based on the requirement

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

? Thorough understanding of cellular technologies like GSM, CDMA, WCDMA and LTE, 5G

? Good understanding of 5G (L2 and L3 layer) protocols.

? Understanding of L1 operations between UE and enodeB/ gNB, iRAT, Handovers, MIMO, CA and test methods of validating UE performance at L1.

? Good understanding of L2 and L3 protocols for communication between UE and gNB/ enodeB, IMS, VoIP, VoLTE, eMBMS and their test methods

? Understanding of 3GPP Release 8 to Release 16 features, its interpretation and test cases applicable for gNB / enodeB and UE.

? Hands on experience on Keysight instruments including 8960, EXM, UXM, UXM 5G Signal Generator, Signal Analyzer and VSA is required.

? Programing knowledge of C++/C# or any scripting language like Python will be an added advantage.

REQUIRED SKILLS

? Strong written and verbal communication skills, Capable of handling multiple simultaneous projects, Self-motivated problem solver and agile learner

? In-depth knowledge of at least one lowerlayer protocol stack entity for a wireless communication standard, e.g. RRC, MAC, RLC, and NAS.

? Practical experience with C++ or any other object orientated language.

? Knowledge of VoIP.

? Experience of 5G and LTE.

? Job Qualifications: B. Tech./M. Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science

? Experience: > 6 to 8 years
