职位描述
The role contributes to the strategic direction of the CHC roadmap agenda to ultimately deliver new product innovation to Chinese consumers. You will identifying, defining and driving the early/mid stage development of new products that will create business growth, profitability and improved brand equity across brands in the CHC business in China.
In close consultation with internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Consumer & Market Insights (CMI), Regulatory & Medical Affairs, Industrial Development and Global/Regional teams, as well as key external stakeholders, the role will help formulate and execute the 1-5 year strategic roadmap, create business cases for assessment through the stage-gate process and provide support to the marketing team for life cycle management of existing products.
Priorities
-Support in driving genuine projects through new product development and launch stages
-Creation of project definition and business cases, according to the agreed strategies, for assessment through the stage-gate process, achieving defined targets of Gate 1 and 2 approvals within timeframes.
-Manage multiple product management projects end to end, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
-Effective and appropriate engagement of category managers, medical, supply, CMI, regulatory teams during feasibility, stage 0 and stage 1, resulting in clear brand commitment beyond Gate
2.
-Effective engagement with regional and global stakeholders in the development phase of NPDs, including reformulation, external manufacturer engagement, regulatory assessment etc.
-Proactively seek new opportunities and analyse them in conjunction with relevant stakeholder input and recommend to progress through businesses stage-gate process.
-Lead the end to end process of the CBEC innovation process, from selection process from source countries through to the smooth execution into platform partners
-Support innovation strategy and planning
-Support the development of strategic roadmaps which will guide idea development and prioritisation. In collaboration with category managers, ensure that innovation pipeline is planned out for 1-5 years across all key categories and brands, both domestic and CBEC channels
-Where appropriate, support CMI and category manager’s ideation activities and where appropriate, participate in external KOL and advisor networking activities. Contribute commercially and strategically sound input that will guide decision-making with regards to which new products enter the pipeline.
-Proactively seek and identify compelling consumer insights, market trends and trends in international and domestic markets that help develop and guide our innovation strategy.
-Proactively scout for new innovations, both product and beyond the pill that are aligned to strategic growth model and brand plan ambitions
-Manage relationships with research, design, medical marketing and other external agencies
-All innovation project forecasts to meet hurdle rates set by the business, in particular, net sales, profit and incremental impact, in conjunction with category managers. Measure actual vs. forecast assumptions and report learnings.

Essential Qualifications
-Tertiary marketing, project management or similar qualifications
-8+ years project management and/or marketing experience
