1.     Ensure ELC is compliant with the requirements of ASC 842 and PRC lease accounting standard.

2.     Conduct the first level review and assessment of the affiliate arrangements to identify leases. Escalate arrangements to management, technical accounting whenever necessary for second review. Maintain a master tracking for lease related liabilities.

3.     Be responsible for abstracting non retail leases into TRIRIGA. Checks building data to confirm accuracy. Builds rent schedules and verifies that payments have been made. Ensures options are exercised and renewals are evaluated. Perform regular lease maintenance, rent run and invoicing process.

4.     Perform a review of the complete and accurate identification and input of retail lease terms. Review and approve the contract analysis. Enters accounting details. Classifies each lease properly, and ensure ROU asset and lease liability are properly calculated and recorded in the general ledger at lease commencement.

5.     Support Exhibition H and other reporting requirements.

6.     Be the super user of Tririga system in the affiliate. Responsible to train users, do testing on new features and enhancements. Raise issues to global teams and follow up on solutions.

7.     Support the communication and socialization new lease accounting standards and facilitate changes to the brands/function processes of lease treatment and management.

Job Specifications

1. Over 4-year accounting experiences with Big 4 public accounting firms, having exposure to Lease project in advisory department, or on Lease accounting roles in retail companies
2. Experience with accounting for US GAAP and Chinese GAAP.
3. A solution-finding and hands-on approach to work with a keen eye for technical detail is required. Being commercial acumen and business oriented.
4. Good communication skills and ability to work in fast pace environment.
5. Knowledge or experience with SAP. Experience with Tririga system is a plus
