Description:
The ISC Business Analyst is a crucial role in creating and maintaining the strategic partnership between ISC business needs and technology delivery in a high growth market for Honeywell Aero ISC business in Asia Pacific. The ISC Business Analyst will be responsible for building ISC business case, proposing high-level solutions, developing ISC business requirements and related ISC business rules based on Aero needs. The Analyst will work closely with the ISC business partner and subject matter expert(s) in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of functional requirements. The Analyst will identify requirements via industry standard analysis techniques such as data flow modeling, workflow analysis, and functional decomposition analysis. The Analyst will solicit and shape business requirements through interviews, workshops, and/or existing systems documentation or procedures. In some cases, the Analyst will have to play the Program/Project Manager role too.
Scope of Work
In general, the scope of work for the ISC Business Analyst role will include the creation/revision of the following analysis artifacts and deliverables:
- Manage overall ISC IT planning for China including: IT solution for OEM and R&O Operations, Inventory & Procurement, planning and ERP optimization to ensure the global IT solution alignment, local IT requirement waterline process and demand prioritization discipline. Primarily support China multi-site leader and material execution regional ISC functional team
- Portfolio Management, business case development and lead / support user community
- Business Partner Engagement including customer engagement and consulting, business problem analysis, process Re-engineering, customer relationship and operational issues resolution /escalation.
- Customer Program Management , functional requirements and solution assessment / validation
Qualifications
1. Deep knowledge in manufacturing industry and IT functional experience specifically ISC SAP Application
2. Great Leadership and team player with strong bi-lingual (English and Chinese) verbal and written communication skill
3. Client Relationship experience and social skill, Must be able to elicit requirements from various personalities across organizational and geographical boundaries.
4. Global Experience and project / program management experience, PMP certification is a plus.
5. A BA/BS degree from an accredited university in technology, marketing or finance related disciplines. MBA or APICS/CPIM with a concentration track in business & technology is a big plus.
6. Minimal 8-10 year experiences in relevant business partnership, technology supporting or business analysis, building and specifying mission critical business processes and/or IT solutions. Exposure to the aerospace industry is a big plus.
7. Must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks.
8. Process driven and result oriented with proven track of success.
9. Solid experience at driving consensus across multiple stakeholders.
10. Green Belt certifcated and effective use of 6 Sigma tools
