Essential Responsibilities
• Deliver system level specifications and designs for portable ultrasound instrument based on conventional and phase array technologies to support both flaw testing and wall-thickness measurement applications
• Learn and understand market requirements from both customers and product management team and translate them into technical development plan in features level
• Requirements management
• Collaboration with PM team to flow-down system level requirements
• Research/interpret standards and regulations
• Developing, managing, and tracking product verification testing
• Develops validation plans for field testing
• Identify lab test resources, manage external and internal testing and scheduling
• Support design engineers to solve diversified issues in product development process

China engineering team covers complete technical domains from Mechanical, Electrical, Control to NDT application, Software and system design, which is a powerful technical platform to consistently deliver competitive products and successful career to each member here.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Participates in day-to-day design and development activities to ensure requirements compliance throughout the product life cycle
• Generates quantifiable requirements based on PM and customer descriptions
• Develop system requirement specifications based on product development strategies
• Establishing and coordinating development of standards, practices, and procedures as related to the overall product development
• Assists in designing interfaces and bringing system elements together so they work as a whole
• Participates in both conceptual and detailed design reviews
• Assists in generating system level requirements verification procedures and test procedures
• Assess/track compliance against requirements throughout project lifecycle
Desired Characteristics
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in NDT, software, electronics or instrumentation engineering
• Strong knowledge of Ultrasound inspection and related application segment from theory to practice
• 8+ years NDT experience, mainly focus on ultrasound portable products
• 5+ years of experience working in mainstream ultrasound portable products company as technical roles as application or system engineer
• Very familiar with the mainstream UT portable products in the market in operation level;
• Fluent in Mandarin and English
• Strong communication skills
• 6-Sigma certification is a plus;
