Essential Responsibilities

A Diagnose machinery problems based upon: vibration data, operational data, and customer communications v React to customer required travel in a timely manner, while bringing all required diagnostic equipment v Complete documentation of findings / recommendations v Maintain professional communications with customer and other team members v Perform asset management studies v Prepare timely work order requests, quick quotes and invoicing packages v Assess job site safety v Understand T&C commitments v MDS customer technical training, sales support, and other assigned relative jobs

Role Summary/Purpose

All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering v Knowledge of rotating machinery diagnostics v Excellent written and oral communication skills to convey technical concepts to business and technical personnel in Chinese v Good report written in English v Minimum of 2 years of vibration analysis or 5 years industry (energy and/or oil & gas) experiences v Ability and willingness to travel on short notice, up to 80%, as required v Ability and willingness to work under stressful working conditions including Wind towers and offshores.

Green Belt Certified (GE Employees only) v Project management skills v Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office software v Mechanical troubleshooting skills with a "Hands-on approach" v Demonstrate authority and assurance dealing with people v Ability to read, interpret, and understand mechanical prints v Knowledge of rotating machinery operation and controls systems v Knowledge of machinery protection and management systems
Knowledge of Bently Nevada products and services v Basic familiarity with computer network systems
