Reporting to:
Director of Sales
Travelling:
Extensively in South China, approximately 60% of the time
Recruitment process:
+ Telephone interviews
+ Face-to-Face interviews
Responsibilities:
The Area Sales Manager develops marketing and sales activities, which result in meeting the targets in sales turn-over, margin, increase market share and new markets. After an intensive training, the Area Sales Manager will be responsible for South China and reports to the Director of Sales based in the Netherlands.
+ Realize specific sales targets for South China area
+ Identify key decision makers of existing and potential customers
+ Develop long term business relationships
+ Perform market analysis, sales forecasts and competition analyses
+ Based on customers request and input advice the customer, which will result in an offer that meets the customer business case
+ Preparation and follow-up of quotations for all products
+ Negotiate delivery terms and prices and closing the contracts
+ Promotional activities, like trade shows
Requirements:
+ Technical / commercial Bachelor degree, Master degree is preferred
+ At least 5 years of relevant successful experience in the packaging industry or capital equipment
+ Professionalism and ability to interact with customers and senior management
+ Proficient IT knowledge, particularly with respect to MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
+ Good knowledge of printing and/or other decoration methods preferred
+ Customer related, enthusiastic, ambitious and strong personality with hands-on mentality
+ Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin
+ Fluent in written and spoken English
+ Willing and able to travel extensively
