Business Operations Manager [Shanghai]
1. Business structure linkage (Part of process or organization)
Polestar Performance AB, Customer Service
2. Purpose
Accountable for setting up prerequisites for an efficient local launch operation. This includes piloting and implementation of products & services under development and evaluated by Polestar Headquarters.
To pilot, develop and implement services that not only fulfills the customer but also gives surprises and delights.
3. Main Tasks
? Setup and drive a local entity for managing the Polestar Customer Service launch operation.
? Initiate and run pilots to evaluate entire program launch, including implementation of Fleet management processes, systems & tools.
? Secure and test a Technical Service support function solution including tech support, incidents & support questions handling
? Develop and pilot solutions for pickup and hand-over of assets between retailers and Service points including defining drop zones
? Initiate and secure a Call Center function operating regionally 24/7
? Secure and set up a regional charging station infrastructure
? Identify and contract local partners for supporting operations
? Identify and secure an operational set up regarding prep & shipment of cars and parts
? Secure and set up of a Car handover recondition service process
? Establish a global organization that can deliver selected services like On Call, Concierge, Lifestyle services etc.
? Develop and collect necessary material for understanding Polestar’s target group with the purpose to implement and deliver on point and fully relevant services
? Early stages - secure Parts Logistics & Supply and Merchandise business establishment
4. Responsibility
? Plan, set up, launch and manage a new service structure with Polestar branded cars, piloting and developing this structure in line with the launch plan.
5. Authority
? Act on deviations on performance and financial KPI's
? Authority to carry out tasks, projects and concept work according to Polestar Customer Service.
? Represent Polestar Customer Service and speaks for Polestar Customer Service in tasks, projects business forums and other matters
6. Competence Requirements
Education & Experience
? Broad Project Leader and team experience
? Very good understanding of customer needs in the automotive area as well as in other consumer areas.
? Fluent in English, both verbally and written skills, other languages are a merit
? Education in Technical or Business University, or equivalent education
? International experience from automotive markets and customer needs globally
? Beneficial with experience/network related to Customer Service
? A proven project leader, with ability to lead and inspire various formal and informal teams.
? Knowledge in project management techniques and tools
? Experience in driving creative processes
? Structured and effective with excellent communication skills
? Strong interpersonal skills and proactive approach to problem solving
? Very good knowledge of local surrounding area and understanding of the Polestar target audience
