German Metal Casting company making high quality products for the Aerospace industry worldwide
Salary:

Reporting to:
General Manager
Travelling:
About 10%
Recruitment process:
+ Telephone interviews
+ Face-to-face interviews
Responsibilities:
+ Act as a Deputy Production Manager in the new plant of Nantong, working closely with the Interim Production Manager (Expat), with the plan to take over full production management responsibilities after 2 years
+ Supervise the production of company's products such as Electronic box cases (Aluminum Investment Casting) in China
+ Development of gating, "grape" design, wax model mounting work and preparation of the corresponding documentation
+ In collaboration with the responsible department supervisor and the ceramic laboratory: Result control of the diverse Slurry, Sande tests, Determination of dive parameters, Initializing measures of correction and improvement, when needed
+ Cooperate with the responsible Department supervisor determination and control of results of founding processing
+ Contact with all control and manufacturing departments with regard to quality relevant issues, especially: metallurgy, x-ray, UV penetrating test, measurements
+ Examination, preparation, application of all regulations specific for company or customer specific, instructions or standards in connection with the detailed tasks mentioned before
Requirements:
+ Engineering background
+ Minimum 4 years of experience
+ Must understand the process of casting in general
+ Must understand the process of Aluminum casting in general
+ Investment casting
+ Familiar with high quality requirement processes, ideally from the Aviation industry but not a must
+ Good process thinking
+ Needs to build the bridge between the German manager and local workers
+ Speak Chinese and English
